As far as I know, Busta quit his channel as he couldn't get along well with some of the less than friendly comments to his videos.

I think, one doesn't need to like or to watch his (or others) shaving videos, but to me it doesn't feel good when people are just mean, unpolite and rude.
If you don't like what he does, just don't watch it.
On the flip side, if you are going to play to the gallery you will require a thick skin or end up flouncing, as in Busta's case. Look at any Youtube shaving video and there are often negative comments always saying similar things... "What are you shaving exactly? you have no stubble", "that lather looked very poor, I couldn't shave with that" or "lol, your technique is rubbish maybe stick to carts?" etc etc. In answer to this the video maker can either block them or just say...

Oh, I certainly agree, if one chooses to do videos on Youtube, he/she should be prepared to receive comments of all kinds, from friendly to unfriendly. I just dislike the way some people express their opinion, when they're getting needlessly personally and insulting. Still it is clear, that if one shows his face on such a platform, some people will utter things, one won't like. And yes, if one can't get along with this, it isn't a wise choice to expose oneself to this.

I agree but if the channel is good, few comments would be rude and harsh.

Examples: King Kevy Shaves @Kevy
Michael Freedberg

Quality surely helps to keep unfriendly comments down. Whether Bustas channel was good or bad is of course also a thing of personal preference. I watched some of his videos, they weren't my cup of tea. Still I appreciate, when people try to create something, even when it is not to my liking.
I got my first information about classical wetshaving via Youtube videos by Geo Fatboy, Nick Shaves, Paul H. Later I found the forums and read also a lot about.
So, not too bad that there are some people making videos about wetshaving (even when I have to agree, that it can feel sometimes strange to watch a video where a guy is just doing a shave ).

The real problem with sir Busta was that he had not any hair to shave so I cannot believe his thoughts about a blade, a brush, a razor or a soap.
I can't really believe that he had some very expensive straight razors, to shave what?

Sorry that I am mean, but it's like have the best kitchen equipment and have only a carrot to cook.

Well, true, one can't say he was cursed by a heavy beard growth. But ok, some men have a light beard, some have medium growth, some (like me) have a heavy one, that's just nature.
I have a friend, who's beard is also a light one, still he likes to shave using classical method and tools, especially on a weekend.
Certainly, it takes more to get a good shave, if you have a heavy growth.

Yeah but I'm sure that your friend does not have 100 soaps, 50 straight razors and 70 brushes like Busta did. Am I wrong?

Well, true, my friend owns (I think) around 4 or 5 de razors, maybe 2 or 3 brushes and uses 2 or 3 soaps/creams, he enjoys using his tools, but he's surely not a fanatic about wetshaving.
