I’m finding 450f for 2.5 hours makes a very crunchy peel. I punch holes, brush on olive oil, and sprinkle sea salt on the potato skin before baking.

I lived in Hong Kong and when I went out for dinner I used to enjoy a steak with baked potato. The potato always came with sour cream and crispy bacon bits, this was new to me and delicious. UK baked potatoes, at the time, tended to be just butter.

I make baked potato the same way that you do but a friend scoops out all the potato, mashes it with grated cheese and stuffing the mixture back into the skins, that is very good too.

The best method I have found for a really nice baked potato is to wash and dry, prick deeply with a fork all over, put it in the microwave on full power for 10 minutes, then rub in some olive oil, preheat your airfryer for 3 minutes, then put your potato in at 200 °C for 10 minutes, leave it to rest for 5 or 6 minutes perfect.
