The first use of my Tedalus this morning and I thought in for a penny, in for a pound, and used a Feather Super Pro. This has been my favoured blade in the Feather SS, the only one I've tried in the SR and has always been excellent.
The first thing I noticed, compared to both the SS and SR is the extra blade exposure this has - it's very noticeable. It's also a touch heavier (which is no bad thing for me) and straight away it felt different, and better to the Feathers. Where the SS needed a bit of angle to cut the first thing I noticed when using the SR was it needed a bit less, the Tedalus again needs even less angle to work, I'd imagine like a real straight, it works really well and 'feels' better but I can't explain why. It's been some time since I last used my SR so I was a little rusty but I did notice a few things that I need to work on: the size and distance of the body furthest from the pivot is greater than either of the Feather's and therefore it has more momentum so I need to focus more on controlling the angle while rolling it around my chin and jaw because it can 'overshoot'. The tang (or tail) and the handle are much longer than the SS or SR and sometimes get in the way so I need to work out how I approach the area either side of my Adam's Apple where the whiskers grow horizontally and some other areas under my jaw-line where it felt quite awkward on first use (but nowhere near as awkward as my first shavette shave).
I'm really pleased with the handling of the Tedalus and the quality of the finish I achieved. When I switched from the SS to the SR I said I felt it was more 'nimble'. Other than the overshoot which I only noticed a couple of times and is easily controlled with those amazing jimps, the Tedalus again feels like a leap in nimbleness when I compare it to the Feather SR. Great write-up. Using this is VERY much like using a straight but in some ways better. I really love the shorter length of the blade versus your standard straight razors (though I do have one straight that's similar in dimensions to the Essence). The shorter length offers a greater sense of control. I also find the rigidity of AC blades more to my liking that that of full hollow straights, which are all that I have.
Periodically I go back and forth on whether I want a Feather DX, but I figure I have too many razors as it is and none of them get the use that they deserve. When I want to keep it simple and have a straight shave experience without the honing and excessive drying / care, I'll just happily use the Essence and not look back.

sorted out the left side of my Adam’s Apple but still need to work on the right side plus the right lower neck. The long tang / tail has been getting in the way and touching my collar bone. I may resort to my Feather SR to see what I do with that and see if it gives me any clues.

Yesterday:
I no-longer need to finish my lower neck with a DE as I've finally worked out how to manipulate the razor and handle to access that area because the long tang/trail was getting in the way and hitting my collar bone. On Monday I used the Feather SR to see if that helped me workout how I'd previously done it but all that showed was the long tang and longer handle is the problem! I did cut my self a few times so still not a wholly successful shave.
Today:
The Super has been my blade of choice in the Feather SS through trial and error and I'd simply carried on using it successfully in the SR and again also in the Tedalus so I thought I'd try a Pro blade. A far more comfortable shave and no loss of performance. Whether that is down to the blade or my 'skill' I have no idea.
I have to admit I've been frustrated at my poorer shaves with the Tedalus than the SR but looking at my shaving app shows that just this year I'd used my SS 11 times and my SR 16 (despite not getting it until September) and the Tedalus only 6 times prior to this morning so I can cut myself some slack and re-experiment with blades too.
