Focus Slim Al with half a Polsilver
Yeah, it was a good shave. I think I'm roughly where you are with shavettes, slowly getting better with each shave and determined to stick at it until the skill is there. I recently bought my first straight and @JamieM has honed it. It was delivered this morning and I'm sitting here willing my stubble to grow faster so I can use it.Anytime you can use a Polsilver in anything, you've got a winner.

I've got two samples, in a light- and dark brown outer paper, and both were tuggy compared to a Red Personna, Nacet, Gillette Platinum and a Feather in the same razors - Homelike Start 0.90 and the Lemonwald/Haward copy of the Feather AS-D2... Everyone's beard and skin are different, i guess...Anytime you can use a Polsilver in anything, you've got a winner.
