I dropped my phone in the sink while washing up. The phone completely died on me, so I had to buy a new phone, lost all my apps, and spent two hours uploading and getting my phone back to where I needed it. What a total pain in the arse.

Sympathise with you on that one. Mine ended up in the water in a harbour - I stripped off and went in after it, took the battery out ( early Samsung smartphone ) ran it in clean water, let it dry naturally and eventually got some stuff off it, but it was a gonner. I know It’s a real PITA to set up a new one from scratch.
