What made your day a crap one?

Take care guys. Life at times can get you down, always plenty of people to talk to here and plenty prepared to listen. Some of the worse days are days when there is nothing obvious to make you feel down.

I’ve been on Sertraline for a few years now, things got me down too much before I went on it. Deteriorating eye sight, heart issues, work and a crap manager. I’ve had my eyes fixed, the meds keep my heart stable, I’ve got a different manager, gone part time and changed to a support instead of teaching role. Still have down days, still get anxious, but in general much better mentally.

Glad to read you’re keeping on keeping on. Keep taking the pills, eh?

Had a mole removed a week ago. Doc called to tell me the best possible bad news - it is melanoma in situ, or stage zero melanoma, and they think they managed to get it all. However, I still have another 3 or 4 cubic inches of flesh to be removed for safety sake next week. The news, while not bad, threw me for a real loop or two!

Good luck for next week. Fingers crossed it all goes well 🙏

been awake since 2ish ante-meridiem... oh yeah... the sky started dumping on the area again...
A tip that was given to me a few years ago.

Many of us wake up between 2 and 3 in the morning and need to pee, we then struggle to get back to sleep. The given tip was to not even try but to get up and do something else for 20 minutes, something mundane, have another pee and then go back to bed. It works for me.
