Where do you obtain tallow based shave cream?

Connaught. Personally, I bought it from a local shave store in Greece. Huge tube.

The Eucalyptus has tallow & lanolin. The tobacco no.

This available in Hungary for about £1.20 a tube punches well above its weight, especially slickness and post shave. Matching AS splash for £1.80 a bottle is very good too

Where did you get yours from? I've read good things about it from a number of different sources. Seem to only be able to find it on Ebay where it seems to be around £6 a tube.

My favourite budget shaving cream is Palmolive Menthol. Seems to be more concentrated than the readily available Belgian made counterpart. Great that Connaught now stock it.

There are so many (industrial) shaving creams under 10 $ that it is difficult to pick one.
You will be surprised to hear, that my best and cheapest ($ 1.95) is the original/classic shave cream of WILKINSON SWORD.
A huge surprise for me too.
The list of undesirable ingredients is long. Some of you may have reactions to it.

You know I have the Mentholada.

I didn't expect to be that slick.
Didn't see that coming! A winner for me. Creamy, dense, shiny lather. Just make sure you use a good amount of cream.

Unfortunately it was a drugstore in Budapest. With hindsight I would have got more than one

A very decent cream that costs 1.5€ /150ml in Spain. The LEA original has a similar composition with added lanolin.
