Testing and repackaging customer returned BT home phones in a dark cold industrial unit for £2.50 an hour back in 2004. There was no heating in this place and I ended up with 2 ear infections during my time there. I worked 6 hours a day which netted me £15... The bus fare there and back was £7. Suffice to say I didn't stay very long!

I owned a restaurant a few years ago, a friendly place, everyone was addressed by their first nam apart from the dishwasher, he was called Potwash.
