I have to agree with you James, your advice as always was spot on and I love my Fine lather bowl as well. But do me my Oneblade even tho purchased for me is up there.

Perhaps it doesn't really qualify as a purchase, but without a doubt, the best thing in 2016 was this site - for a few days after exiting TSR I thought I'd be restricted to US shaving sites.

The wonderful bakelite Merkur 45. Underrated, pretty and as good as or better than any other DE razor.

I agree Lee. I too passed on it when it was for sale. I did approach Hassan to see if he would make me a handle but it wasn't something he was interested in which was a shame.
