As already mentioned. Mindhunter on Netflix is excellent.
Watched the second season of Stranger Things. I liked it but, for me didn't match season one, which I rate as one of the best tv shows I've seen in years.
Another one I'd recommend is Atypical (on Netflix) A great unconventional coming of age story.

I might seem geeky, although not being a trekkie (I enjoyed the retrofuturistic Enterprise and the original series), but I think that one the best series released recently is Star Trek: Discovery. The opening credits are graphically beautiful, Klingons are uglier and more violent (the hardcore fans will be glad, half of the show is in Klingon), the hard science is also a big part of the screenplay/plot, and there is a dark touch in this series. Lots of Brits in the cast.

I agree with some that say Stranger Things season 2 is not like season 1.
The curly kid was better without teeth, and Eleven was way cooler when she was bold.

I've binge-watched both Stranger Things 2 and Narcos series 3.
Stranger Things I absolutely loved - as good as, if not better than the first series IMO, likeable characters, great 80s vibe going on - Frankie Says Relax and watch Stranger Things
Narcos for me is vying for second place behind GOT - simply superb, and personally I really appreciated a more honest depiction of U.S. foreign policy, and how some of the contradictory aims served to undermine 'the war on drugs'. Excellent TV, brilliant characters - I could (and might) watch all 3 seasons again.

I watched the pilot last night. Promising indeed - nicely detailed portrayal of the seedier side of early '70s New York. Maggie Gyllenhaal is as watchable as ever, and even James Franco, who I usually find an irritating and self-conscious actor, turned in a solid performance.
