This arrived well on time having been ordered by ' er indoors. Still not used it but it smells absolutely divine and exactly as I hoped it would be. VERY Aventus to my untrained snozzer. Will give it a run tomorrow.

Used this today. WOW!! OOooooooo Matron, shave me again!!!! 
I simply love this cream.. Usual TOBS cream efficiency and as usual I used too much. ( Is too much really possible? ) The scent though, to me is absolutely divine even though I still have a bit of a cold. Right up my pineapple patch. Does not quite pip the Classic 24 on scent but comes close. Definitely a keeper and you will not see this jar on BST.

I have used it a few times now and I am equally impressed. I have used TOBS creams in the past....but they have been single note. This is the first complex cream I have used and I have enjoyed it so much........I have a tub of Mr Taylors en route.Used this today. WOW!! OOooooooo Matron, shave me again!!!!

How would anyone compare the ToBS to Sell out or Spartacus? I have Aventus.. I think it’s close but not really at the same time.

Interesting reviews on this one. I predict this will be my reward for finishing a soap/cream. I especially like the fact that it's one of the slickest varieties.
Not tried either of these I'm afraid.

Spartacus is very nice. Not quite Aventus but very pleasant to say the least. If you wait a little while, Phil said that these will all be replaced with the new base.

Went with Royal Forest again today. Still loving this. The scent in particular is way better than TOBS' other offerings and is so much better in the bowl whereas the others diminish greatly for me once lathered.

I know I'm a little late....but I have been following your reviews and decided to pick this cream up, I have to say that I'm very pleased with the performance and scent. I love TOBS creams and their Sandalwood scent (was the first real quality cream I purchased) is still my absolute favorite scent out of all the creams and soaps I have, It's a bold statement I know, but as we all know YMMV. Just wanted to thank everybody for their input which has lead me to buy this great cream. I think this actually outperforms some of their other creams IMO. Very complex scent that performs just beautifully, couldn't be happier!
