2 tubs have arrived as promised. So firstly thank you to Georgina and TOBS for allowing us to test these on ATG and I do hope our feedback is useful.

Gents and ladies, this is a sexy scent. To my nose it has veins of St James Collection shaving cream. Quite acquatic yet it is sophisticated. The big brother of St. James if you like.

From the source TOBS:
A classic fragrance with top notes of bergamot, mandarin, cypress, middle notes of orange flower, lavender, oceanic and base notes of vetiver and woody amber.

If you would like to try this cream please add your name to page 1. I will separate the cream into samples, this is easier and cheaper also seems to be more favoured. First come first served with these. At a guess I should be able to accommodate approx 10 samples.

Please post your thoughts and comments here once you have tried the cream. Georgina and TOBS will have access to all member comments regarding this cream. I will post pictures of the containers in good time.

It is going to be interesting going back to a cream after many months of soap. Enjoy!

Preparing samples this evening with a bit of luck. So could members on the list please PM their address, if have not already.

Used the cream 3 times so far. Performance across the TOBS range is well known to be decent. I find little variance in performance across the cream range. It does exist IMO. If you use Lemon & Lime it is quite drying and the scent is quite polarising. When using Avocado, the scent is cucumber cool and the post shave as well as slickness I find improved. I react to Jermyn Street. No.50's performance was good, not as dense and slick as Castle Forbes or Xpec but the product didn't lack each of these properties and subsequently provided a comfortable shave. Perhaps the lather was slighter thicker than the likes of Sandalwood, Eton College etc.

No.50 sits somewhere close to St. James and a speck of No.74. Masculine yet floral. One that im enjoying. It isn't as far across the scale as Eton College, yet expresses similar floral but greater aquatic notes. The scent strength is very good too. This is not overly strong but apparent. Here is a pic of the tub, the cream white.

Lol no I am just very slow on posting. Been catching up with Georgina as well, hoping to have them sorted this weekend for Monday's post. Also hoping to hear from Bernd on Monday regarding the Shavemac LE.

Only joking mate, I've got a stack of samples to work through here anyway! :)

Received my sample today and briefly sniffed from the container a couple of times. First reference is Nuavia. Nera, with touches of Blu and Verde, if memory serves me right. I like it a lot! More to follow...
