Which is why British troops played "The World Turned Upside Down" as they marched out of New York after being whupped by a bunch of farmers filled with CFS and cream gravy. You really missed out. On your deathbed you will regret the missed opportunities of 10 years in the Lone Star state.

If that legend is true, given what that bunch of farmers had in their stomachs they were still trying to digest it 33 years later when, in 1814, the British burned Washington (including the Presidential Mansion, aka the White House, and the Capitol building).:p:

I'd like to try it sometime.

FWIW, I think the breakfast culture in the States where people regularly go out to eat breakfast is a great thing. When I went many years ago I really loved eating in local style diners things like MASSIVE omelettes, pancakes and so on. If I make a trip to the States again, I will go where to a state where the BBQ is celebrated.

Kidney pie doesn't sound like food. As far as the heart attack goes, well, I had a triple bypass in 2001, so I'm good to go! :dance:

BBQ is everywhere! And there are many different kinds with different bases and flavors.
