Pass Around Timeless Razors Pass Around

Is there any chance of getting onto the list to use this razor? I'm trying to understand if the .95 would be too aggressive for me.

I understand if there isn't any slots available for this pass around.

Thanks.

Good news. Managed to get hold of a Timeless scalloped.95 razor with the smaller handle. Perfect. Thanks.

OK, time for me to move this beauty along! A full review will follow, but suffice to say I've enjoyed the experience and ability to try various combos so much I now have a nice used model winging its way to me following a trade of my Wolfman Guerrilla for a .68 straight-bar / smooth head / 85mm Timeless unit!
As an established Rockwell 6S 3 Plate user, I found the 0.95 a little too aggressive for my liking and just couldn't seem to avoid nicking my chin with every combination and angle I tried. The .68 certainly suited me better.
Will pm @Burgundy for his postage details.

I've said goodbye to the Guerrilla and cracked open the Timeless. What a forum. What a time it is to be a wet shaver!

I've loaded up a Super Iridium into the .68 plate and 'normal' cap for tonight's shave. However, the combinations will take a while for me to get my head around. I'm away next week which will slow down my testing.

One shave in...

I opted for the scalloped .68 with the plain cap, using a Super Iridium. The far-too-early points of comparison were better than the Guerrilla but not quite as good as the Blackbird SB.

There's a fair bit of blade feel and a lot of feedback; I agree that the sound is tinny and quite unlike the buttered toast of a vintage Ever Ready.

The non-scalloped head is smooth in use and the dimensions, with the shorter handle, are user-friendly. I reckon the 100mm is too heavy for my tastes.

A fairly close two-pass shave - a reasonable job of my chin and jawline. A touch of burn but no weepers. An interesting fortnight ahead!

Shave #2 with both scalloped cap and plate (.68). Again with a Super Iridium - a blade I'll keep constant during my time with the Timeless.

Again, I was impressed. The scalloped topcap does bring something interesting to the party and the razor again shaved closely. No irritation and 'BBS' on all areas bar the chin, which takes me a while to figure out.

Tomorrow will see the first outing of one of the more aggressive .95 plates - probably the scalloped so as to enable a direct comparison with the .68 I've used thus far.
