The Ti 0.95 SB is ideal if shaving daily and is as smooth as the lovechild of the Karve C plate and PILSHi everyone,
I also have the Timeless Titanium scalloped base and cap the 0,95 version, and I also think that for everyday shaving (personna platinum) is too much for my skin.
Thinking to change the titanium with the SS with the 0,68 smooth base plate, dont know if I have to give more time. My Rockwell 6s I use it with the plate 4 and the Personna platinum blades with no issues.
Yep, of all the Ti versions available I prefer the 0.95 SB. I personally don't feel the matt finish suits OC or scalloped heads. The Timeless SS 0.95 SB works flawlessly, just incredibly smooth and efficient. Paired up with Manuel's Violetas, it was pure love
I found the 0.68 OC to be a little too mild, it'll be going on BST.
Has anyone tried the Ti 0.95 scalloped comb?
Timeless certainly did a great job with the SS finish, and I'm so damn tempted with the Ti version.Yep, of all the Ti versions available I prefer the 0.95 SB. I personally don't feel the matt finish suits OC or scalloped heads.

Maybe I'll get the Ti in dual comb![]()

Tough question, what is your current go to razor? This should help clarify exactly what type of blade feel you prefer. For the mildest face feel with maximum efficiency, I would.oot for the Ti Timeless 0.95 SB with scalloped top cap. The polished SS 0.95 is excellent, quite mild; mild blade feel and very efficient. I'm fact I shaved with it last night after some time and it still was fine. One possible issue, I found the newer handles far too heavy and rather unbalanced, making shaves more aggressive. I own the original handle when the razor first came out and I think it is one of, if not the best handle made.I'm thinking of buying a Timeless 0.95 razor (never tried one before) and I'd like some help regarding the base plate.
Ok I'm by no means a daily shaver, usually shave every 3-5 days (rarely 3). So for sure I need something efficient, I don't like going over the same spot many times to clean it up. My hair is quite hard and I easily get face irritations (sensitive skin) so I prefer razors on the mild side (but not compromising efficiency). Furthermore I don't really like excessive blade feel on my skin.
Long story short, I've decided for a SS polished Timeless, 0.95 blade gap, scalloped head and 100mm barber pole handle (prefer long handles). The question is, what base plate should I go for? OC or scalloped (not thinking of a safety bar)?
Given the "mild efficiency" (efficiency first, mildness following) I'm looking for, is OC the right choice? Sure it's the most aggresive one but perhaps this makes it unsuitable for sensitive skins? The scalloped on the other hand as I understand it is a bit more mild which is probably preferable for my case but does it lack efficiency compared to the OC? Don't forget we are talking about 4/5 days growth of hard facial hair.
From what I've read both base plates are quite close and therefore (as most things in wet shaving) it comes down to YMMV. So I'm mostly looking for opinions, especially from fellow wet shavers that have tried both base plates. Of course if you believe that any part of the setup I've already decided on could be altered for a better outcome, feel free to mention it (although it would get me more confused hehe!).
Oh and something else: from the base plate design I'd say the Timeless resembles the Merkur Progress (which I've used in the past). Is it only the looks or does it reflect to the actual shaving as well?
). The Parket 24c OC is another razor I enjoy very much (mild but I'd prefer a bit more efficient).Charcoal Lvl 2Thank you both for the input.
@Nishy my rotation is usually among the Vector (love its mildness with Schick blades, would prefer a bit more aggressiveness but when trying Super Pros it was a disaster), Sabre Level Two and ATT SE1 (the latter more seldomly, sometimes gives me some irritations). When I have time I also reach the Feather DX (completely other league but I enjoy it). I know, no DE in my rotation but perhaps Timeless could change that (and the Pils I'm waiting). The Parket 24c OC is another razor I enjoy very much (mild but I'd prefer a bit more efficient).
On the other hand I love the efficiency of R41 and Rocca but found them too aggressive for me.
Generally, I think I am searching the sweet spot between mildness and efficiency. With the SEs I have I'm spot on mildness and tiny lacking on efficiency. If I could retain the mildness with a tad more aggressiveness it would be ideal.
