It just depends who is making it really , and what else they make. Thats certainly a driver in many areas of personal care, there is a demand for non animal products , which means any line switches from animal based products to non animal are more difficult in terms of clean down etc. So a lot of plants and toll manufacturers don't want to make them anymore. We are more on the cleaning side of things but our plants are nearly all animal free.

I have enough to last a long time.

All too often, IMHO, soap makers change their formula and hide it. I would have thought the forthright thing to do is to make an announcement. I recall when AOS removed tallow. I had just finished a tub of Sandalwood soap and reordered a replacement. The replacement was tallow-free and when I shaved with it the first time I was disappointed. I later learned that the formula had changed.

im yet to try out tabac, its defo one i shouldve tried out a long time ago tbh.
not sure if youve seen it but i did see a thread over at B&B testing the old vs new formula with lather shots too,
was interesting to see but obviously wouldnt know unless you tested it out yourself

Mail called few days ago from my brother another six more refill pucks tallow version of TABAC!!!! I’m bloody glad to have a total 12 refill pucks, 6 refill sticks and 2 travel sticks all tallow soaps for many many years now. I give my middle finger salute to the vegan non-tallow version of Tabac in hell or kiss my ass 🖕
