Yeah, I don’t know how they got away with that. We asked FDNY about it. They replied with some BS about every classroom had one window that was escape accessible. My next comment was to the effect of, I’m not in a classroom. It’s a designated office space. Basically they told me to pound salt.

Ive been quite fortunate to have the electric company car this afternoon so I had the air con on. Only trouble was, leaving the car was like walking into an oven.

I would have removed the stops.

I’m diabetic and on a top floor flat so I seem to really suffer during these hotter weeks. Diabetics tend to lose water in the body more easily, so I’m on about four litres a day to stay hydrated. I’m basically a vampire though and love the winter so I’m the wrong person to express any joyousness at this time of year.

WOW ! That’s warm for that time. No need for me to go out today thankfully. However, getting rather hot cleaning the house. Thursday we leave for hopefully our flight, so the place has to be cleaned for the house sitter.

Yeh..I doubt I will be in my school job today...mum didnt send the kid in yesterday and I dont think, with today being the hottest of the 3 days, that she will be in today.

College is finished for me. No marking, no papers to submit. So I’m “working from home” !!! Daughter off today, she suffered big time yesterday. Not that they are doing much anyway.
