Summer Heat

That's from the outside sensor hooked up to my central heating. No idea if it's measuring humidity as well.
Just wondering why there are two temps showing and why they differ. We have no outside temp sensor hooked up to our central heating and a/c. The thermostat readout just gives you the temp you want to keep in the house and what the actual temp is.

Yes I agree. But I was told not to do that. To do otherwise would have been grounds for charges of insubordination. I wasn’t about to lose my pension over it.

I'm just lucky I worked in Machine Shops and not a school.... I was charged with insubordination more times than Carters got pills (I'm showing my age here).
The only thing that saved me was that I was good at my job. Had to attend many a "sensitivity" class though... Ahh, what the hell... it was on their time, and it afforded me time to doze instead of turning handles for folks that didn't appreciate it!

I understand. While I was a kind, conscientious and effective speech therapist (my students often became better communicators than the “typically developing” kids), frankly what also helped me fly under the radar was my age and gender. Well over 90% of S-L therapists in the NYC school system are young women. In my district there were only two other male therapists (and one of them I wasn’t quite sure of). Principals and other supervisors tended to leave me alone - with the exception of the supervisor from hell - but she hated men in general, so…

My son teaches music, along with whatever else they might need in Far Rockaway. He calls it "The Rock!"

Do you see the benefits of the like button here? It's an effective way to communicate how a post is received. That other forum seems dead without it, like no one is there.
