That’s no longer the Valobra version though maybe they have some in the aluminum pots that is still Valobra.

Playing around with some green stones yesterday, which went remarkably well: Charnley, Idwal, Nantlle. Razors are: John Heiffor, Walter Otton, Wilheim Weber.
Comparing them unslurried with water, and 600 WnD finishes. All of these are crackingly good finishing stones, I couldn't really say any of them shaved better than any other, they were all excellent. The main differences being the Charnley feels nicest to hone on, and the Nantlle is a bit slower than the other two.
TBH it's not every time I put three razors on three different hones and all come out perfectly first time round, but yesterday was the day!

A late shave, and the first blade off La Lune..

Puma #22.. Not a full hollow, but close.. A nice shaving razor. More can be learned about my experience with this razor off the La Lune, in the La Lune thread. But, the experience was very positive!

Pitralon Classic AfterShave Splash.. I actually forgot all about Pitralon... forgot I even had it. I'm happy it resurfaced. Perhaps my tastes have matured since it's last use!

Glad you’re liking the soap, Bill. I’ve never tried the Pitralon Classic, but I really enjoy the Swiss and Pure varieties. The Swiss Pitralon was a revelation to me, it’s so soothing! And the Pure reminds me of Pinaud Clubman, but spicier. Fortunately, I have backups for both of the Pitralon splashes as they’re now essentially unavailable in the U.S.4.30.2022
