The samples arrived safe and sound and I have to say The scent spectrum is very good. Which means there are quiet a few i'll be shaving with based on initial smelling the tubs before I start to fully report back. After my initial shaves I might even step out of my comfort zone on scents to see how some smell in the lather. I'm not sure if the slight differences in formulas will change shaves from one cream to another but i'll see how it goes with my first shave tomorrow.
First up will be Vetiver Vanilla. Just out of the sample tub I get a nice rounded Vetiver not too dirty but enough earthy of a smell not to smell like wet wetabix and mud lol. The vanilla adds that sweetness that I like but makes me think it might end up too powdery.

Ok so first shave with one of the samples last night, as I reported before I went so for the Vetiver Vanilla. Pea size amount in my scuttle and my choice of brush the RR BC synthetic silvertip. Wow this cream just exploded into luxurious dense slick lather in no time. I went in with my damp brush and added water in 4 loads of less than a tea spoon at a time. When I applied the lather to my chops I was really blown away. Let me give you some insight into my past. When I first started traditional shaving I only used creams. All the top rated from Tobs, Xpec, DR Harris, Baume.be and Simpson's to name a few. So I feel i'm well traveled in the realm of shave creams so my comments do not come lightly. THIS CREAM IS AMAZING!
The scent beautiful, the cushion spot on, the glide effortless, the slickness and residual slip like glass. I can honestly say this single sample has made me look at this creams as a contender to my software rotation. I had no drying post shave. Not over moisturising but nice soft post shave feel. I didn't use a AS or balm to measure post shave and hours later I was still lovingly touching my skin at how soft and smooth it felt lol. I also still had a linger of the lovely sweet Vanilla and gentle touch of dark Vetiver. Next i'm going to jump into either Musk or Coconut Holiday. From what i've seen and felt so far if the performance isn't effected by the EO's or fragrance than i'm going to love the next shave as well.

I've just shaved with the Lavender cream and it was sublime! These creams are on point and don't need to much to get it right. Some products have to be dialed in as the right water product and whipping ratio or you're ending up with too much air or too watery or no cushion. They have got a very well rounded cream and I would have loved a rose scent in the collection. The lavender EO used in the cream is a very good scent and lingered just enough to make it a calming lovely shave without reminding me of moth balls. So another lovely shave and not sure which i'll try next. Any recommendations?
