Great razor. Smooth and very efficient.Any one else used the razor I am thinking of purchasing one (still to be convinced ?)
Just a fraction. Very littleDoes the blade stick out of the ends of the head?
Hello @Nico1970,@TATARA RAZORS - maybe João can give us some more details / insight into his design philosophy and fabrication methods???
Dear @carbold,I would buy it for sure if I could choose a different handle. Because of the dowel system you can’t use a different handle [emoji20]
We will definitely produce different handles but is still not planned when.@TATARA RAZORS May I suggest you could provide a dowel to shim the stud so you can use any handle?
Congrats for buying this beautiful razor. I really looks great! And now you are confirming that it is smooth and efficient. Well done. I am looking into some stainless steel razors. This one is an option.I saw the Tatara razor and liked the design, the clean modern look so I went ahead and ordered one with both plates.
I have been using the Tatara with both the SB and OC plates daily now for about 2 weeks using 2 different blades, Polsilver and Gillette Yellow, for me I like the blade feel and feedback this razor gives. I have found that with the right blade and soaps (cushion, glide and slickness) renders this razor to give a smooth and very efficient shave. To make a comparison I believe the SB plate gives a Timeless 95 feel, the OC plate is somewhat more aggressive (blade feel) yet again especially with the OC plate, with the right blade and soap this plate will give you a very smooth and very efficient shave, just remember if you are not paying attention the OC could bite. Again a good soap is required to get the full benefits from this delightful razor. My opinion is, this razor is not for those that want a mild shaver.

Titanium is lighter than stainless steel, I prefer the weight of stainless. What's wrong with titanium Storks?
