With a synthetic brush the MSC soap created vast amounts of protective and slick lather- far better than the boar I used yesterday. And a first use of the Yaqi Ghost 0.90 which I understand is a copy of the recent Paradigm razor so I put it on the copied handle to complete the look. The handle is titanium and the head stainless steel so the balance is ‘off’ and too head heavy for my preference but the shave seemed very smooth and surprisingly close and I think I’ve over-shaved my neck so maybe fewer passes next time I use this razor.

PS- last use of the Myrsol F/Extra which I think is my second bottle. Since using B&M ASL I’m less impressed with Myrsol so I’m unlikely to buy another bottle, this one lasted 93 uses.

Used this 1950s English Rocket HD for the second time now, it is a damn fine razor. I had one once before, recently bought this one, and currently I find a renewed love for vintage razors....

Together with this excellent soap and AS combination from Westman, it resulted in an excellent shave today. You do need to load heavy on the soap, but then you are rewarded with a great lather. And the scent of the soap and AS are very nice and long lasting.

Gillette - Rocket Heavy Duty England, 1950's
Gillette - Silver Blue (3)
Omega - 10108
Westman Shaving - Nirvana soap and AS
Balea - Men Ultra Sensitive ASB

Folk Soap Bay Rum Trial
Pre - Pears Transparent Original
Brush - Simpson Chubby 2 Best Badger
Soap - Folk Soap Bay Rum
Razor - Enders Speed Razor - 1930's
Blade - Modified Personna Injector
Post - Cold water Rinse
Balm - Folk Soap Bay Rum A/S Balm
A/S - DR Harris Bay Rum

Wk 13 (6).jpg

I have reduced the width of the Blade stop from 7.20mm to 6.98mm making the blade 14.98mm total, which is exactly the same as the Enders blade.
Another great lather from the Folk soap - CH2 combo and off i went. The razor has really calmed down, very smooth but still efficient enough for me. 3 passes have me comfortable and BBS.
I need to do the same to the other "blade carrier".
Enjoy your day all.

My S.O.T.D today consisted of......
Prep Hot Shower.
Blackland Shaving Towel.
Brush Blackland Signature synthetic.
Soap Mastro Miche Shaving Stick.
Razors Henson A+++ & Brassbird Lite.
Blade Tatara
Aftershave Folk Soap Bay Rum.

Today's shave was another run with this Brassbird but using the Lite plate.
Again a very different shave than it's Titanium brother, I understand now when I read others say that the different blackbirds shave slightly differently.
I had an amazing shave and I am now left with a glass smooth finish.

The little Mastro Miche stick wow wow wow what a surprise, it produced huge amounts of rich creamy lather, it has a lovely slickness thats left on the skin after rinsing and the post shave feeling is on par with MWF, let's not forget the scent, gorgeous.
It's just one shave in, but I feel like it punches way way way above its weight.
@pjgh, you need to throw one in your basket on your next Connaught purchase, I would love your thoughts on it.

My Henson on the flexible handle performed great, and my head is silky smooth and shining.
a solid 9.8/10 shave.

I will now leave you all to enjoy your night toodles.

King C. Gillette three piece razor
Treet king stainless steel blade
Smartly shaving foam
English Leather Aftershave

Hot shower prep with Old Spice extra clean soap

I had to make a run to the pharmacy so no time for a proper shave this morning. Two passes and I might do a proper shave later. English Leather for the finish.

It isn't quite a Paradigm clone.
It's more like they're both Tech inspired heads that ended up having some similar design elements.
Here's a related B&B thread with pictures, too:

I've had the 70SP and still have the 90SB, and it's a really nice razor head, IMO.
