Shaving Recipe for today.

Prep: Warm shower:/Cien Men Energize Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Curalene Cocoa Butter Glycerin Soap.
Brush: Omega 10066.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl.
Lather: Kent Luxury shaving Soap. (tallow)
Razor: Parker 24C.- Voskhod Teflon Coated. (D1)
Razor: Parker InjRzr. (Head/Dome)- Personna Injector PTFE. (D4)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & Head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+Witch Hazel./Blue Stratos ASL./Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

The Kent/MWF soap, always provides a superb lather. If I had to choose a favourite shaving soap, then the Kent/MWF would be a very strong contender. My love of 'The Fat' is a burning eternal flame of lanolin goodness. A superb shaving soap.

A close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth and smelling divine.๐Ÿ˜‰

Floรฏd oil pre shave. Declaration Grooming, After the Rain, Bison Tallow Shaving. Yaqi 1731, two bands badger, Mysterious Space handle. Nameless straight razor, Swedish steel, 7/8, full hollow ground, with custom by Pablo Fuertes kirinite artic blue scales.

  • Blade : Feather Hi-Stainless (1).
  • Brush : Yaqi Ocean 28mm Synthetic.
  • Soap : The Goodfellas' smile Shibusa 2.
  • Aftershave : Cella Original Splash.
  • Weight : 52 grams
Hi all,
Great shave today with the Gillette single ring.
I find these older Gilletteโ€™s are a bit more efficient
And a bit more unforgiving than the later models this is my opinion only.
The new feather blade worked well in the razor but did leave me with a bit of irritation after the shave. I think this is because I was out of practice with this razor.
The Goodfellasโ€™ smile Shibusa 2 is a great soap with a nice on the face feel and good cushioning.
Finished off nicely with Cella aftershave.

The Bathroom definitely has a Bay Rum aroma when you enter due to the soap being stored in the cupboard, it is very nice. The CH2 picked up the soap easily and made/held easily enough lather for my 3 passes.
The little Type H was buttery smooth today, i do have to rinse the razor a lot more due to the small lather channel, saying that, it is a crackin shaver.
I noticed today a lovely post shave slickness after my rinse off then a very nicer post shave routine, i may transfer the Balm to a small spray bottle so i can control the application a bit more.
