Damn close shave today but maybe a bit too harsh. The soap is excellent but I’m not enamoured of the scent (think it’s #1).

This knot is the 24mm version of the AP shave Co G5C and it splays far easier than the 26mm version (when set in the same sized bore hole) and was really good. I could see myself using this a lot.

Premiere of the razor; I find it to be a very soft and very respectful razor with the skin, it also cuts well, it allows a very decent shave with two WTG/ATG passes with a two-day beard

But, there is always a but, in the first use it has not thrilled me, it seems to me a system similar to a multi-blade and it does not give me much more than the Contour or the Sensor Excel (which, by the way, I like a lot), the weight in the handle it makes you tend to tighten more than a DE and the grip does not seem the best

It was just the first use and I tend to look for the bad rather than enjoy the good, so let's give it some time because the razor is very nice and the feel is high quality

Have a great day

Razor: Rockwell 6s
Blade: Feather Hi-Stainless , 2nd use
Brush: Yaqi Freedom Italian Flag 24mm Cashmere
Bowl: Captains Choice Copper Lather Bowl Standard Bowl
Preshave: PAA Cube Unscented Soap
Soap: Wickham’s 1912 Citrus Musk
Aftershave: Issey Miyake L’Eau d’Issey EDT
Balm: Wickham’s 1912 Citrus Musk Balm
Additional Care: Osma Laboratoires Alum Block

So after hunting high and low for this elusive and discontinued soap, @Boycie83 manages to find me one in the depths of the emporium’s stockroom! I added my leftover sample and away I went, creating one of the smoothest and slickest lathers I’ve made in record time. The whole shave was great and a reminder to me at just how good this base is! (I do wish this was still available and we could have a few more scents). I had a small sample of the balm as well which I used so the whole shave was a real treat from start to finish.
Enjoy your day guys.

#1 - Barnyard - smells like you're shaving among livestock. Performance is good but I'm more of a city boy myself.
