**Overall:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐✰ (Great Shave)
**Smoothness:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐✰ (Very Smooth)
**Irritation:** ⭐✰✰✰✰ (Zero Burn)

What a way to end the work week! 🎉 I decided to pull out the Blackland Tradere this evening for a relaxing two-pass shave. It's a gorgeous razor – that stainless steel just feels so substantial in the hand. I paired it with a fresh Gillette King C blade, and let me tell you, these blades are *sharp*. Seriously, a fantastic edge for the money, and I’m glad I stocked up when they were a little cheaper! The lather from the Wholly Kaw Project Leather soap was fantastic as always; that green tea scent is just divine. 🍵 I swear, it’s incredibly soothing, and the donkey milk base really does contribute to a wonderfully slick and comfortable experience.

My Tanz Golden synthetic brush whipped up a lovely cushion, and I really felt like I was treating my face to something special. Two passes with the Tradere and King C combo delivered an incredibly smooth shave – practically effortless. I'm continually impressed with how well this setup performs. I’m starting to realize I really need to get this razor into the rotation more often! No irritation at all, which is always a win. A little bit of Wholly Kaw Project Leather aftershave splash to finish, and my skin feels fantastic.

It’s a simple routine, but the combination of quality products and a little bit of mindful technique makes all the difference. Sometimes, it's the understated shaves that are the most rewarding. All in all, a supremely enjoyable experience and a perfect end to the day. 😌

A truly lovely shave with the underused Tradere! It seems you’ve found a winning combination of products and are really enjoying the experience. The Project Leather scent is a standout, even if your wife thinks you smell like green tea – a small price to pay for a fantastic shave! The Gillette King C blades are definitely a value, and you're smart to have stocked up. Here’s to many more superb shaves.

Fryday January Ninth, Twenty Twenty-Six's Shave Of The Day was good...

PreShave: Nothing
Lather Gear: Yaqi 24mm Synth Mountain Lake whupped up the last bits of Stirling's Lightish Red sample in Captain's Choice Copper Aquamarine Bowl
Razor&Blade: 1974 Gillette #84 Super Adjustable loaded with a Shark SRSS 1 buffing WTG(5)
AfterShave Gear: Omega Alum Stick then Stirling's Deep Blue Sea...

the Shark blade's other edge seemed to not like 5 gap in the bdayish Gillette... it was tuggy... we'll give it another try with a smaller gap...

Have a good Weekend and SOTDs ATGSrs...

Aleppo soap - Shave pre wash
Alpha Classic G4 28mm
Ach Brito Mogno soap
RR Hawk V3 - A plate
Feather Pro ( 6 )
Tuff Red A/S Lotion

Not at all surprised that the price of The Hawk has risen, as it’s an excellent Razor when fitted with an A plate. Rather a shame that my initial purchase was an OC version which I have retired in favour of the A plate. Again quite surprised at how well the FP blade is performing, now on its 6th outing it clears the stubble with ease, works brilliantly around the upper lip and chin.
