**Overall:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐✰ (Great Shave)
**Smoothness:** ⭐⭐⭐⭐✰ (Very Smooth)
**Irritation:** ⭐✰✰✰✰ (Zero Burn)

What a fantastic way to end the day! 😌 I settled in for a relaxing evening shave, and everything just *clicked*. I opted for three passes with the Rapira blade in the Above The Tie Windsor R plate – a combination I hadn’t tried in a while, and I’m so glad I did. That Rapira blade, even on its first use, was incredibly smooth, gliding across my skin with minimal effort. It's seriously sharp, a 9 out of 10, but in a controlled, comfortable way. The Windsor R plate, being a non-adjustable stainless steel razor, offers a consistent experience, and the polish really helps with the glide.

The Stirling Bay Rum soap was a perfect pairing, creating a rich, protective lather thanks to its tallow, shea butter, and lanolin base. That bay rum scent is just classic, isn't it? ⛵ The Highlander Blue G5C fan brush whipped it up beautifully; that synthetic knot has a nice backbone without being too stiff, and it felt wonderful on the face. It really helped distribute the lather evenly, setting the stage for a supremely comfortable shave.

Finishing off with St John’s Bay Run aftershave...well, let’s just say it lives up to its reputation! 🔥 It *does* pack a punch with that high alcohol content, but it leaves my skin feeling refreshed and clean. The scent lingers nicely, too, a great way to cap off a truly enjoyable shaving session. No irritation whatsoever – a win in my book!

For me, this early morning shave was the best of the week, Bay Rum is a favourite of mine and the Stirling offering is the best out there, The reknotted Simpson handle has gone from a least favourite brush to my top 5 list, it really is a great brush.
Moving on to the Feather AC Shavette, it was as smooth as silk with the blade on 12 shaves. i com0leted 2 passes with some touch up for a very comfortable BBS finish.
A great post shave routine using a couple of drop of my Bay rum Argan Oil and a splash of DR Harris Bay Rum.
Yeah, that was enjoyable.
Enjoy your day all.
