Wednesday Night Shave...

Was really pleased with tonight's shave. The wife chose the components (because she likes them!) but I had a day and half's growth which means I needed to be very careful of overshave and razor burn. This felt like a technique shave for me and I've reached a point now where I'll stop and look at my face and say enough and I'll stop much earlier and still be happy with what I've done.

The blade was a Treet Platinum #3 - a very good blade for me as long as I keep it away from the mildest razors. The Cella Blue scent is so clean and fresh. The Bond Spacequest aftershave, which was a PIF freebie, ranks in my top 3 smelling items! It's Friday night courting material 😉

Finished with no redness or dots. Very pleased. All decently priced items. A mindful and technical shave...

Merkur 33c razor
Treet Durasharp blade
Leponix synthetic brush
TOBS Eton is collection shaving cream
UP & UP witch hazel
Aqua Velva sport aftershave
Bod Man blue surf cologne

Hot shower prep with Old Spice Swagger body wash

I gave the beard a good scrub and soak in the shower. I forgot to put in my brush to soak while I showered. Fortunately the synthetic doesn't require a long soak. Eton College loads well and whips into a generous lather. First pass reduced two days worth of growth. Second pass brought to close. Third pass was as close as I'll ever come to BBS. After a good rinse with tepid water I laid on a generous application of witch hazel followed by the Aqua of sport. The Blue Surf added the finishing citrus notes.

Greetings,

Early morning shave.

It's been a while since I last used the Omega shaving cream and forgot how much easy it is to create a slick protective lather, with a good kick from the Eucalyptus oil to give my ageing face sensors a vibrant late winter morning wakeup call!

The Wilkinson Sword Classic TTO & Amazon Solimo blade duo have performed admirably through out the week feeling smooth & efficient.

Finishing to the shave off with a few small dollops of Boots Cucumber Moisturising Lotion.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.😉

Stay safe 'n' warm and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen.😎
