1st time using a Stirling product: what an excellent soap in terms of performance this base turned out to be! Thick, dense, lubricating lather!

One the olfactory side: felt a mild muddy clay note. I went to the store and I bought sandalwood cosmetic oil. Turned out the smell was raw bitter sandalwood. Nothing like I knew from PRORASO, ToBS, Chinese burning sticks. Then I remembered I had 1/3 Daisho Tropical Dream AS, with potent pineapple & peach notes.
I mixed some drops with the soap and turned the soap in something mild sweet tropical scent.

The rest of the Daisho Tropical AS I combined with PRORASO sandalwood AS.
This estompated the strong pineapple & peach notes, embedding them in a subtle sandalwood note.

I must say I am now something of an artisan myself!

Razor: Occam’s Oren
Blade: Kai Captain Mild Blue, 1st use
Brush: Boti Annual Ring
Bowl: 3D Printed Bowl
Preshave: PAA Cube Unscented Soap
Soap: House Of Mammoth Almond Leather Puck
Aftershave: A&E Barbiere Sofisticato Aftershave
Balm: The Inkey List Vitamin B, C And E Moisturiser Balm

Tried a Kai Blue with slightly more success than the yellow, with more successful results but in my opinion it’s feather all the way with this razor. It was still a great shave and the HOM Almond Leather was a great way to finish my samples sent by @Mike Smart it smelt divine!

Merkur 33c razor
Van der Hagen blade
Palmolive original shaving cream
Old Spice "original" aftershave

The Merkur was purchased new on 2005 and shows no sign of wear. It has been a well behaved razor giving a good shave with just about any blade I put in it. I solved yesterday's problem by shaking almost all the water out of the brush and adding back a couple of drops at a time. Two passes and a touch up and I reached near BBS. The Old Spice it new classic and not what the original was in scent profile but it is pleasant enough. I still have a bottle of the Shulton Old Spice cologne.

Everything in my shave set up paired together wonderfully.

The Merkur 34C is a razor that i could easily use for each of my shaves. A close comfortable 2 pass + pick ups shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine. 😉

Keep safe, and enjoy your day ladies & gentlemen. 😎
