Monday 4th May...

I've been wanting to have another look at Lord blades recently and so decided to start with the Silver Star. It's been a very long time since I used this so I had no recollection of what it was like.

It seemed nice and sharp and cut through the two and a half days growth quite easily. I made three passes working against the grain which my face doesn't like and even three against my hot spot on my lower right neck and it caused very little irritation. I couldn't have worked it harder really. Not a bad blade at all. At £6 for 100, it's hard to find fault.

Soap was C&S No88 (Valobra) and the brush was the Pearl 'White Walker' synthetic. The razor was a flat bottomed Tech.

Not the best photo but an excellent bit of sink time.
