Sunday 19th July...

Another good shave today. My technique seems to be refining itself now and very careful XTG has appeared for clearing the nostrils. The slickness of this soap compared with last time's Lea isn't even close. Touching up with the residual slickness is so much easier. I'm happy for now with these blades. The Lord Platinum #1 has enough of a balance of cutting power vs safety. Special mention to the Floid aftershave which is new. Very gentle stuff with just a tickle of menthol. Very pleasant. Not going to run out any time soon either

Something I saw an Italian barber do, when you use a straight you accumulate later on the opposite side. this lather is available to lay down before the next stroke.
