Prep: Warm shower:/ BULLDOG Peppermint & Eucalyptus Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face.
Wrights Traditional Bar Soap with Coal Tar Fragrance.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Naples Tuxedo Synthetic.
Face Lather.
Lather: Scottish Fine shaving Soap.
Blade: Gillette Winner Platinum.(D2)
Razor: King C Gillette.

Post:
Cold Water Face Rinse./Cold water face wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Nivea Refreshing Toner./Nivea Men Fresh Moisturising Gel./Cien Men Aqua ASL.

Everything in my shave set up paired together wonderfully this morning.

Finishing the shave off with a generous splash of Cien Men Aqua ASL.

My face is feeling super smooth & smelling divine.😉

Sunday 19th July...

Another good shave today. My technique seems to be refining itself now and very careful XTG has appeared for clearing the nostrils. The slickness of this soap compared with last time's Lea isn't even close. Touching up with the residual slickness is so much easier. I'm happy for now with these blades. The Lord Platinum #1 has enough of a balance of cutting power vs safety. Special mention to the Floid aftershave which is new. Very gentle stuff with just a tickle of menthol. Very pleasant. Not going to run out any time soon either 🙂

A really nice bit of Sunday sink time this morning, a cooling shower to really soften the whiskers ready for the Kamisori style Feather DX.
I completed my 2 pass shave routine for a really comfortable, no issue DFS+ finish, with just a couple of tiny bits of roughness to the touch, although nothing to the eye so did not bother to chase it.

I've been on 3 international flights in cattle class for work, totalling about 30 hours, with 4 of them asleep in the last 36... but finally in my hotel, and had a shave with some of my favourites. I mistakenly packed a tuck of FlyDear instead of Suneko, but was still rewarded with a mild and predictable DFS. View behind my gear is Tainan, south Taiwan.
