Quite a good Shave today, spoilt by my keenness to get it just right so managed to get a couple of heavy weepers on the chin. Had to staunch them with tissue paper as son has moved the Styptic block.

The Photo is not 100% accurate as i actually used both of the Kropp razors this morning. I completed a pyramid refresh on both and decided to give them a test shave today, the Masamune was on the subs bench - just in case.
#1 was used on the RH side and #2 on the LH side. Both felt really smooth, not too keen but sharp and comfortable.
I completed my usual 2 pass Straight shaving routine, however, i had made up too much lather from the Vintage cream, again.
I decided on a buffing pass with the Tatara rather than wash the lather down the sink. Not a lot left to go at, if anything, today i am a BBS, comfortable, happy shaver.
I opened a new vintage bottle of the 4711 this morning, its always a pleasure to break the seal on these vintage fellas.
I was expecting a bit indication and was pleasantly surprised when it did not happen.
That was a very nice shave and i am very happy with the work done on both of the Kropp edges.

Lovely shave today with the Schick. Yes, even with this Personna blade, much better than the first time.
I acquired this brush just before my purchase stop, but it may turn into my favourite. Coming from a boar brush lover, this means a lot, I really like it.

Best Ever Shave ??
My First Use Of The Design 94 Ti.

Pre: - Hot Shower/Face Towel
Post: - Zingari Man Recovery Potion
Razor: - Design 94 Ti (Satin)
Blade: - Gillette Platinum (New)
Brush: - Tony Forsyth Manchurian (30mm)
Soap: - MdC Vetiver

Got the Razor yesterday after waiting for Customs Clearance & Parcelforce taking forever...

'Design 94' is a relatively new company from what I understand in the manufacture of DE Safety Razors based in Grrmany.

The razor is manufactured from 99% pure Titanium & is the standard 3 piece design..
Top cap is scalloped & the handle is a massive 16mm diameter & 116mm long..
Blade Gap is 0.9mm with neutral blade exposure.

Onto the shave the razor feels great in the hand despite the Giant handle.
1st pass WTG - no blade feel at all.
The razor feels very nimble when moving around the face. Superbly efficient also.
1st pass done & no drama whatsoever. I could have stopped there for a perfectly acceptable shave.

The 2nd pass ATG & again no drama the razor performed flawlessly.
This was easily my best BBS shave with the least amount of fuss, & for a razor I've never used before I was definitely on autopilot ½ way through the 2nd pass.

Was this my best ever shave ??
I would say Yes for a razor I've never seen, picked up, or used before. .

The Boot’s shave bowl (non-tallow) is truthfully not that great. It lathers fine and and has some slickness but not a lot. Little cushion is apparent nor is there any noticeable skin conditioning. I can remember it being ok back in the day and time hasn’t done it any favours. There was better then and there’s better now. No rose-tinted testicles here, I mean spectacles!

next time you get your eyes tested.......make sure you produce the correct 'pair'. Not even Matron could get you out of that 'fix'
