Follow-up: Well... unexpectedly, it turned out to be an amazing shaver. The rollers are just well... rolling. :) As I expected, they don't transmit any "vibration" to the blade. Quite a noisy razor, like an old tractor gear box. I liked it, though. If something, the rollers are making the whole head, the whole razor to oscilate, while being dragged on the surface of the skin.
Very efficient, gave me a perfect shave.
This is very unusual. It seems more like a massager, although it does transmit vibrations throughout the entire shaving head. I never cease to be amazed by the engineering solutions of the past.
