Magnificent shave for Tuesday - a solid BBS finish from a 2 pass with touch-up. The brush (arrived this morning) is spectacular. Backbone and soft tips, generous proportions, excellently made, with a beautifully crafed handle, no stray bristles, the fan shape is just great.

7 and out for this blade, i find the my more aggressive razors seem to go through blades more quickly, although i am not sure if its just me.
Anyway, i am clean and tidy ready for a day out at Thirsk races, a few bets and a few more beers.

Yesterday we took the "shorter" more scenic route along the coast of Wales and it was a beautiful drive, i think we will be visiting a lot more once the pup is up. The only problem was it added 2 hrs to our homeward journey, we had a nightmare crossing from east to west around Manchester. So with around 70miles less we had a 9hr drive home. All worth it though.

Prep: Warm shower:/ BULLDOG Lemon & Bergamot Energize Shower Gel.

Pre:
Cold wet flannel to my face & head.
Wrights Traditional Bar Soap with Coal Tar Fragrance.
Brush: Yaqi 24mm Naples Tuxedo Synthetic.
Bowl Lather.
Bowl: Tesco's Ceramic 'Cosmo' Side Bowl
Lather: Proraso Blue Shaving Cream.
Blade: Treet Platinum.(D1)
Razor: Parker 87R.
Razor: Gillette Guard. (Head/Dome) (D5)

Post:
Cold Water Face & Head Rinse./Cold water face & head wash with brush squeezing's,/Alum Rub./Cold Water Rinse./Homemade (~Spring/Summer mix~) Lemon, Eucalyptus, Tea Tree, Essential Oils.5 Menthol Crystals Mixed Together With Care+ Witch Hazel./Brut Oceans ASL./Nivea Men Creme.

The Proraso blue shaving cream created a nice creamy slick protective lather with only a small amount in a short space of time. The residual slickness is excellent leaving a superb post-shave from the addition of the aloe vera and vitamin E making my mature rhino skin feeling soft & moisturized.

A enjoyable close comfortable face & head shave with no errors to report.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Creme.

My face & precious swede are feeling smooth & smelling divine.😉

A rather interesting Shave as again I used an Italian soap, but this time the more inexpensive one.I think that I got a slightly long lasting lather with the Mondial and the scent was more subtle. However, it really illustrates what good value the Vitos is, though ideally splitting up a 1kg block is probably a good idea.
Was in fact a good Shave, and I was pleased to have cleared 4 days growth so easily.

Cuteness overload for me! I have only ever owned Terriers. My two old Bedlington boys, Oscar and Boris, are still going strong, aged 14 and 11. I love Welsh Terriers, along with Bedlington Terriers, as they are listed as endangered breeds.
