After all the photos of everyone buying the fabulous Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban cigars stuff this week, I was feeling left out and I wanted to join the party.

Yes this stuff is amazing and the OneBlade Genesis razor just delivered another top drawer shave.
I believe it's impossible to cut yourself with this thing regardless of pressure used, easy to shave with absolutely, but rubbish if you are trying to learn how to wet shave.
I am bbs and absolutely god like in my looks and smell.

I built a decent lather. Two passes and cleanup. The Van der Hagen blade was at the end of it life. I did a Clubman finish to a respectable Thursday shave.

First use of HeV soap and it performed excellent. 15th shave with Platinum in Overlander and it doesn't show any degradation in performance. Really interested to see how far it can go.

Must be a super blade. Some say their blade is already dull after the first shave 🙄

Hot shower prep with Axe 3 in 1 wash

It felt like an Old Spice night. I used too much cream but I got a lather thick enough to float a straight. Two passes got it done and between the aftershave and the cologne I was near the old Shulton formula.

I think it is time for a cup of tea and a pipe of Captain Black. Ya'll have a great weekend.
