Another fantastic lather from the Signature soap, the blade was OK but it has been retired to the blade bank. The Boti boar is breaking in nicely.
Clean smooth and refreshed ready for another day with the "whirlwind".

9/16 John Holler made for J.E.Donahue & Co. For me this one checks all the boxes. I recall the bidding process and was concerned about a late bidding war. The shoulderless design coupled with a 'barber's notch, not to mention the blinged out scales makes it a pleasing razor to have.

[Shave to the grave]

This shave is for the brilliant surgeon and theatre nurse who were able to put my finger back yesterday after an accident I had at work on Monday. The hospital is The Queen Victoria in East Grinstead, made famous during WW2 for treating severe burns & performing facial reconstruction of RAF aircrew. It is also the hospital(at least in the South East of England) that patients are sent to for the treatment of hand injuries.
I had a sandwich and a coffee in the Spitfire restaurant a couple of hours before the op.
I've been busting for a shave and what a great one handed shave it was! First use of the Razorock .68 o.c. Brilliant. Smooth and efficient.
