Comparison shave.
Pre shave ESC oil.
Hone 15a and Yaqi Sputnik both with Amazon blades.
Simpson Chubby Synthetic.
Rex Supply Co 1955 soap and splash.
RS balm.

Today, I decided to do a comparison between the Yaqi Sputnik and the Hone 15a.
The Sputnik is on loan from my buddy. Thank you, Joe.
The quality of the Hone over the Yaqi is marginally evident with machine marks on the Yaqi, but other than that, it's a well put together razor.
I used the Hone on my left side and the Yaqi on my right, giving the Yaqi the most work to do due to my growth on that side.
Having performed the usual three passes, wtg, xtg, and atg, I noticed that the Yaqi was slightly more efficient than the Hone.
So, a subsequent pick-up pass was done with the Yaqi, resulting in a perfect shave, bbs all over, and no issues. The Amazon blades continue to impress me, and the Rex Supply Co soap and splash is fantastic.

The R89 Twist is a brilliant shaver, however, for me, to make it better it could be Stainless Steel with a shorter, thinner handle.
I still enjoyed it though.

Though I like this Razor, it’s not getting enough use, and may have to go as I am selecting other Razors before this one. Still had quite a decent Shave, apart from getting a weeper when I lost concentration.

More comparing of the P&B soap with B&M. I’ve found the Dreamtime can start a little airy if you start to lather with too much water in the brush, which is very easy to do with a CH3.
