Plan for tonight for originally Apex on the face, Winning on the dome. A few strokes into the first pass and I began to wonder, what would the Apex be like. Queue perhaps the smoothest dome shave I've had with a stainless razor, not to mention one of the closest - this is something I'll definitely be doing more often.

Back to the Schick Type-G and after a little research I find that E and G are near identical, certainly the cutting geometry which is no surprise. I found the E so close I had ingrown hairs so I’ll need to be watchful. The sample of Paganini’s Violin was completely underwhelming regarding the scent but it’s Omnibus so a great result. Enjoy your Mondays

I had intended to switch blades to a Feather Professional this morning, but couldn't find one immediately... So the Kai Captain classic got another spin. Turns out, shave (6) was a buttery smooth one with a DFS+ result, free of blemishes. All I needed for a Monday morning.

Not picking up this Razor too much these days, preferring The Hiram Commander and other AC/SE Razors in my stable. Having said that, the Shave today was very good with a satisfying close all round finish.
