Soap irritation

Only Stirling's Hot Apple Cider. Like the scent and it's long lasting, but the cinnamon leaves my face tingling

I've had it happen with two soaps so far: TOBS Royal Forest and Stirling Spice. Strangely I'm fine with TOBS Sandalwood, Rose, Eton and St James.

Must be a particular fragrance oil in those two. Makes me a little nervous to try the other heavily scented American soaps though. Shame as the performance of the Stirling was superb.
+1 with Stirling Spice. Shame for a Stirling fan like me :headshake:

It's Mama Bears for me. I think its the essential oils/fragrence oils in high glycerine soaps for me. I've found that a quick zap in the microwave (8 seconds for a full puck) burns some of it off. Mostly though I just avoid high glycerine soaps. It's too bad really, as I really enjoy Mama Bears soaps.

There are some soaps that burned my face, namely Cella, P&B, OSP and Stirling. Surprisingly I got on very well with A&E and Oleo which have strong smells and use mixtures of natural and synthetic oils.

The two that stand out to me are Stirling Sharp Dressed Man and A&E Spartacus. I'll always get the irritation as a burning on my moustache area. I've gotten that reaction from a few splashes too, which I put down to fragrance oils.

Actually, now that I think about it I did get some irritation with the Declaration Grooming Icarus soaps I used too.

Hello all. Just had quite a bit of stinging and irritation from Ariana and Evans Cafe au lait..i suspect due to high fragrance content (shame as it smells fantastic).
Anyone else had a soap that really reacted badly with your skin?
Yeah, same one, I too love the scent but something in there is wrong.
