Bacon, honey wheat bread, with Dukes Mayonnaise.I’d love a bacon sandwich right now. White bread (not too fancy), grilled back bacon, no butter or margarine but dipped in the drippings, brown sauce. With a mug of tea (white, no sugar).
I'll take it like it is, but I don't know what the brown slop is.A good ploughmans lunch takes some beating after you have been on a good country walk with your dog and you end up at a pub that serves up a good ploughmans.
For people outside the UK they may not know what goes into a ploughmans, the one below would be a good one to share, it is just missing a good chunk of bread and personally I would pass on the coleslaw and ditch the lemon water for a bottle of something good.

That will be Branston Pickle, a U.K. thing.I'll take it like it is, but I don't know what the brown slop is.
The pickle goes perfectly with everything on the platter, looking at it now is making me hungry. i have relatives in Portugal, you would not believe how many pork pies and scotch eggs I have to take when we go visit. You know how it is, when you cannot have something the desire increases tenfold. That will be Branston Pickle, a U.K. thing.
Brown slop???? Brown slop? I hear.....I'll take it like it is, but I don't know what the brown slop is.
Mike Gatting was said to pack a jar of Branston pickle with him wherever he went, just in case.
