sweet!Hi
Got my new WW handle yesterday so I glued my 24mm Romera Manchurian fan into it immediately and gave it it's first test lather today.
I'm loving the handle, and the softness of the knot actually shocked me. It's amazing. Genuinely right up there with my Simpsons manchurian and Silvertip, but seems to currently have a little more backbone. It will be fascinating to see how the knot develops as it blooms!
To say I'm pleased is an understatement!!!

The beehive is one of my favorite shapes. Not in hand yet. Just approved this and am waiting for the invoice.
A "Becky" style handle with the RCE series #25 horizontal layers color combination.
24mm TGN High Mountain White.
Never tried this kind of knot before.

I emailed Peter this morning back and forth and changed the knot. I asked him about the TGN HMW and he said that it's very soft. I don't like that. Should have mentioned what I was hoping for in the beginning.
Am going with a TGN Silvertip Grade A instead. Same size, but lower lofted. I have one of these knots in another brush and love it but it's a different handle entirety. Actually one of the Switchback 400.
I am really looking forward to seeing the brush in person. I don't know what RACE stands for but I really like some of them. The Becky handle caught my eye with the flared top.
And thus ends my year of brush acquisitions.
