Got on the list last time did you, 8 Sept? Or no, he cant possibly turn around that fast, can he?
Yes indeed! Very nice. These photos are rubbish.Stonehenge?
That's blooming lovely!!!

The massive advantage that I feel the original Plisson has over the Mühle, other competition, and 'Plissoft' imitators is that it splays is the most like a natural knot. How do you rate this BlackWolf in this respect?!Having had a couple of uses now, I love this brush! The knot is possibly my favourite synthetic, very soft face feel, easy to splay but with enough backbone. The knot being a tad more compact than the Muhle it's easier not to put lather into my ears. The handle is, of course, superb. Two thumbs up from me!
Agreed. I used the black-wolf tonight for the first time and I'm really impressed. It has no chance of replacing my badger collection but it's gone straight to the top of the synthetic heap. Very nice face feel. Soft tips, splays easily while maintaining backbone for face-lathering (though the fibers retain some springiness that can get distracting). The Plisson-style knots don't have this springiness, but they have no backbone either. It's a compromise.Compared to the synths that I've tried (Muhle, Edwin Jagger, Simpson) the Black Wolf feels and splays most like a natural brush. I've not tried the Plisson, it's too wee.
Nice brushHi
Got my new WW handle yesterday so I glued my 24mm Romera Manchurian fan into it immediately and gave it it's first test lather today.
I'm loving the handle, and the softness of the knot actually shocked me. It's amazing. Genuinely right up there with my Simpsons manchurian and Silvertip, but seems to currently have a little more backbone. It will be fascinating to see how the knot develops as it blooms!
To say I'm pleased is an understatement!!!
