I've not tried it yet but the knot feels lush, very soft tips but quite dense. I'm looking forward to giving it a trial run later on. :)

Is that the new synthetic Chris? That is one absolutely stunning brush, looks amazing with that knot.

That you for the kind comments. It is the new black wolf synthetic, I like it a lot! The knot is more compact than a Muhle so it feels denser and the tips are really soft. I used Proraso green and it lathered up a storm. I love the handle, it's extremely well made and comfortable and there's a really nice silver grain to it which changes with the light. This could be a challenger to my Simpson Chubby synth as king of the synthetic pile.
