I know Peter can't ship badger knots Internationally but does he offer the handle only, or can you only purchase a brush with some sort of knot installed. Never really asked him, so I am just curious.

Outside of the US you can only get synthetic unless you just want the handle, it's down to export restrictions on badger hair.
Thanks for the info. Not keen on animal hair, especially when the new synthetics are so good. I'm making my birthday wish list an amber handle (no rings) with synthetic knot. Now I wonder if anyone loves me enough to buy me one?

Somehow, I doubt that.

Here's my DWW-NG in it's current role as a travel brush:
Great photo
Now that's the one I want. beautiful transparent amber (no rings) long big bulky handle for diggin deep into my lather bowl but filled with with the softest synthetic.

But can you bring one back in your suitcase? Surely there's plenty of people travelling with badger brushes.

Yes you can. You could also get someone in the US to buy it and ship it to you. There's more info on the WW website, but it's something to do with commercial export fees. I don't know how other US vendors get around it, perhaps it varies by region.

In a moment of unusual responsibility I have taken my name of the waiting list, just to much stuff to justify anymore purchases.
Will now try and avoid any pictures you Guys post of your beautiful WW Brushes:)

Is this a recent law? Just asking as I've ordered knots from TGN in the past.
Lovely brushes btw!

Edit: just read your other post, saying not sure how other vendors get around it. Strange one that.

That looks MASSIVE! Good stuff. I like a big brush.

I have a handle on its way as we speak!!! Can't wait!!!
I was afraid of it becoming too big in diameter since I asked for it to be able to hold a 26 knot but Peter managed to land it at 41.6 at the widest (base). It fits wonderfully in my hand.

I said in the other thread, related to handle size that...
...The Epsilon is near perfect size for me at 40.5, could have been just a tad bigger...
Spot on, I'd say!
