To be honest the last I heard he was better. However it is strange not to have heard back from him, having emailed a couple of days ago. He is probably very busy.

Ok spoken with Bernd, the next protoype should hopefully be with me by the end of next week. Also he has agreed to providing synthetic knots as well as badger. I will ask him as to fibre details shortly.

That's as far as I ever got, he said synth knots were coming soon but when I asked which fibre he'd chosen it went silent... I'm guessing it will Silvertip Fibre AKA PurTech but you never know.

Ok chaps heard back from Bernd. No mention as to the type of synthetic fibre used. However I will be testing one of his first synthetic brushes in the coming week to two weeks.

Brush has landed, complete with synthetic knot and slightly new handle. Base is now haxagonal and twists to allow for function. I will test it thoroughly.

Each iteration looks better than the one before.
What do you mean by hexagonal base? The black bit at the bottom? I looks round in the pic.
