While dry I actually find my fan to be softer on the face than my bulb from the previous group buy. Of course my bulb is fully broken in and the fan is yet to touch water.

They all look superb, congratulations fellas. Variety is the spice of life but every time these LEs come to completion and the pictures start rolling in its hard to not want to get more and more of these Shavemacs. Bernd is such a good dude and his work and business model is second to none.

Mine have landed, very very happy with all three, pictures when I get home. Copper resin is pure class. The flat top extreme (DO1 2 band) is exceptionally soft and has surprised me. Looking forward to wetting these beauties when I get home.

Thanks for the advice Dipesh, I'm aware that you a brush affivionado, so do you consider that bowl lathering is harmful in some way?
Hi Rob, I wouldn't say that it is harmful. As Nishy says, bowl texture could accelerate wear but it's not something I've tested tbh.

I've just used mine for it's maiden voyage around my ugly mug. After a good soak I gave it a good sniff. A little funk could be detected but nothing strong. I decided to use the S.V Cosmo to lather. Once soaked I flicked out the excess water and put the brush to the soap. In no time at all I had a nice build up of soap in the knot. I finished the lather off in the bowl. I had loads of lather, enough for 6 passes easily. I applied the brush to the fizzog and it was honestly like a cloud on my face. Zero scritch. It painted a beautiful thick lather. I didn't even know I had badger hair on my face. Superb knot. It's a wonderful brush. Great shape with the fan knot. Worth every penny.
UPDATE. Once it has seen a bit of water it is massive.
