Those 400's are awesome! I just contacted Bernd about getting a 28mm bulb Unique knot set in a jade beehive.
Sure hope he can do it..

I asked the same question a while back. See screen shot below. Sorry I couldn't sort out a link.

If you look in the Brush section there is a shavemac classification thread at the top of the page.

Thanks - I'm a huge fan of the D01-2 band knot, have three brushes with that knot, and soon to be a fourth, as well as one Aluminum Rubberset #3 with the D01 knot in it, much less "scritchy" than the D01-2 band.

But brushes, like soaps and creams, can't get enough of...they...complete me. :)

Unique is a knot with (no pun intended) unique density. It is designed to be an intermediate between a standard 2 band silvertip and a DO1 2 band (please check out my 'Shavemac classification' thread). Loosely to imitate that of early Paladin brush knots (made by Lee Sabini) and Epsilon 2 band badgers; with regards to density. Not a wall of badger that is forceful on the face, more a natural splay without the need for more backbone or to jeopardise flow through.

Thanks, that sounds like a very nice brush, I have 3 M&F's and they are all very greatly, but I know Shavemac is superb in consistency so I guess I'll have to wait to see if there's another group order - dang nabbit, this is what I get for being slow to the show. :)

Were currently organising another for Feb/March. Check out the thread labelled 'Shavemac 2017 LE'

Did anyone order two brushes with the same unique knot? If they did, did they find any variation in density between the two unique knots?
