Shave Lounge Closing Down?

Be nice to see if they do make a return, I will quite happily give them a bit of business and if they are going to give it another go all the best of luck to them.

I did just log in to my account and my reward points are still there, so fingers crossed I will get a chance to use them up! :D

I didn't try to log in or check points. I had about £7 worth of points which I'd like to spend if I can

Ok guys so I got a reply from Anthony as bellow,

"Hi Mem, thank you for your message. Our website is currently being transferred to a new company, so they are in the process of getting the site back up and running."

I've asked if this means that they starving up again and will report back. His message does sort of give me the feeling that they might be starting to trade once more.

Ok so what Anthony has just replied ap following

"I think the idea is for the site to be running again pretty soon, but I don't have any involvement in this, so I don't know for definite the exact plans.
Another company has bought the website and 'Shave Lounge' name from us. I did think long and hard about relaunching the website again myself, but it's such a tough job (non-stop working) so decided that it was the right time to call it a day for definite."

So there you have it folks. Shave lounge will be back but not with the original owners. I'm wondering if it one of the middle to bigger players in the wet shaving vendor market who's brought it.

That's a shame for us customers but Anthony has good reasons to call it a day.

I doubt the new owner(s) will meet the standards we got used to with Anthony but I'll give them a chance.

Guess we will find out in due time if the new owners are up to it, they certainly have big shoes to fill in terms of the high level of customer service that Anthony delivered.

Not like we are short of choice in the UK right now though and there is perhaps a bit more competition now if you want to buy the high end / more niche brands, plenty of good online stores to choose from in my eyes.
