After suffering from an itch irritated scalp for a couple of week, I have ordered a Dr Harris Arlington shampoo bar and a Fredriksons shampoo bar.
Lets see how it goes...

I have gone back to shampoo to be honest. I used some MW and lush after. The MW were much better. I also bought some fredricksons shampoo bars which weren't really for me. Far too many chemicals. I need to grab some more soon.

190g Traditional Aleppo Olive Soap with 40% Laurel Oil Savon d'Alep Syria.
There was a load of postings on another shaving forum a couple of years ago on Aleppo soap. Nice soap, but does anyone know if it’s still being made after all the troubles in Syria ? A lot of this soap was made using traditional methods in ancient troughs.

I recently received both a shampoo and a charcoal face bar from Michelle, yet unused, as I am going through OneBlade of Darron’s glycerine preshave bars and a shampoo bar from Fredricssons, the latter in an alternating scheme with another bottled shampoo. Where did you find an INCI for Fredricssons? I’m quite pleased with it thus far. Lathers like crazy, and my scalp certainly doesn’t suffer.

@Rowlers: I'd suggest staying with one soap for at least a week or two and using that soap for all soapy purposes to exclude other soaps/shampoos/shower goos having their own effect.

As clean/plain (minimal list of ingredients, unscented) soap as possible and using just that for a few weeks is likely to yield best results.
I found the trouble with some soaps is that they leave a small amout of residue, which can build up slowly, but can cause e. g. serious dryness or other skin issues seemingly out of the blue.
It's going to take a few days, sometimes a few weeks, to get rid of completely.

The ingredients list was attached to the packaging Halvor. I ended up buying 3 or 4 soaps, the opium scent was quite nice but compared to Michelle's (MW), lower scent strength and more chemicals.

I totally forgot a couple of years back I used Aleppo soap, not too bad but I found it very drying.
I'm wondering whether there were any 'extras' in there. Often times they claim that the soap is what it used to be, but in fact they alter the recipe so it's anything but.

I honestly couldn't tell you, perhaps if I go back on my purchase history. It was bought some time back when I believe Carl was describing it over on TSR.

Could you share a link to Michelle's soaps, plase? I'd like to take a look at what they have. :)

There are no scent options, I'll see when it turns up...
Would you mind posting a snap of the ingredient listvonce it does?
I had almost ordered some myself a few times now, but the lack of a full list of ingredients on the site made me change my mind.
