Shampoo bars, which one is the best?

Took the plunge with a FunkySoap tea tree and neap oil as my first foray into shampoo bars. I popped it into a sisal drawstring soap pouch which once wet develops quite a good lather and not too dissimilar an experience to a bottled shampoo. It also allows it to be easily hung up to dry. So, one shower in I'm pleased lets see how I get on over the next month or so :)

The pouch is a great idea. Is never even considered it! :bravo:

I remember these hanging in public (and some private) toilets and bathrooms off the tap. Takes care of any dripping issues.

I really like shampoo bars by Wideye. I travel a lot with work and these bars come in a tin, perfect for lobbing in my suitcase.

Interesting shaving soaps, too. Have you had a chance to try those?

Three bars ordered!
Big thanks:cheers:
I've been using The Scottish Fine Soaps Vetiver & Sandalwood shampoo bar for about 4 weeks, on and off, since my supply of Funky Soaps ran out. Funky Soaps were my first step away from bottled liquid shampoo. I shower and shampoo daily.
Since the Coronavirus outbreak and the UK closure of my gym, I have used the SFS V&S shampoo bar exclusively. At the gym (4 or 5 days a week) I'd have used the liquid all purpose stuff in the wall dispenser in the showers for hair and body. Since stopping using that, exclusively showering at home, my hair and scalp have improved in condition no end.
My first bar of SFS V&S has a bit of a dent in it now from daily use. The lather is thick and luxurious and seemingly much thicker than Funky's.
I'm not a big scent guy, owing to my very poor sense of smell, but I don't find the scent any way offensive and Mrs Sensitive Nose herself hasn't said anything about it.
My scalp could often get a little itchy but I've had no such issues with SFS V&S, whereas with certain variants of the Funky Soaps some brought out an itch over extended periods of use. I tried a few of their various scents / flavours / formulas.
I find Scottish Fine Soaps shampoo to be the superior of the two brands of shampoo bars I've tried, with the resultant quality of lather, longevity and the lack of any, even mild, irritation the biggest scoring factors. Scent is not at all important to me.
I will try others but it seems the benchmark has been set.
And, from my using Funky Soaps, which were an improvement for me over liquid there will be no way back to buying liquid shampoos.
I've a couple of bars I picked up in TK Max some months ago, which were branded shampoo bars, I forget the name, to try out. And D R Harris shampoo bars seems to be held in high regard so they're on a to-try list, but the one to beat so far is Scottish Fine Soaps.

@The Gentleman , how are you getting on? I believe we placed a similar order from English Shaving Co. about the same time. Did you get to trying them yet? Would enjoy comparing notes.

I'm getting on fine, thank you :)
Been using my first SFS for a few weeks now and I'm very satisfied with it. I think it matches Mystic Water as being the best for my hair. I've also tried D.R. Harris, Stirling and PAA and it's better than those. I don't have any MW at home right now so I can't compare, but my memory tells me that they are about equally good. Two big advantages with SFS is that is available in Europe and that the puck is harder and lasts longer. The next time I order shave soaps from MW I'll buy some shampoo bars as well, but otherwise I'll stick with SFS. Behind those two D.R. Harris is the one I like best and all shampoo bars I've tried are better than any liquid shampoo, for my hair.

Ah yes, I concur.
Shampoo bars > liquid shampoo
And IMO
SFS > Funky
